As an Artist?
Ok. The following may sound really complicated
and legal-like, but we'll make it as easy for you as possible. We're really pretty
easy to get along with. When you get done reading
it all, give us a call and we'll explain anything you may have questions on.

We will include the artist’s personal page
(see example)
and up to 30 items for sale on the site. Ask about our
360 degree virtual reality images for sculptors! It's very cool! (Must be using IE5.0+) We will also include a link to your own
personal site if requested. We do ask that you link back to Mossy Creek Trail.
(Additional pages or work “out of the ordinary” may incur additional
fees at the discretion of the MCT Team. In other words, if we have to work extra
hard or spend extra money, you may have to too.)
Artists can contact MCT with a request for
consideration of being placed on MossyCreekTrail.com. Artists must have at
least 10 pieces approved by MCT. If approved, you must provide (or let us
take) a suitable photo of yourself, a short bio, and pictures of ten or
more pieces to be placed on the site along with the category of work,
description, size, medium, weight (for shipping purposes - may be
estimated), price, shipping method and estimated shipping time.
Artist will be notified via e-mail of any sales and is solely responsible for
shipment to the customer. Once the order is confirmed and payment received, a commission of 25%
will be retained for MCT (less than most gallery commission fees). The remainder
will be sent by check, or if preferred PayPal account, to the artist. All sales will
be tallied on the 15th of the month and checks mailed to the artists by the 1st of
the following month.
Mossy Creek Trail will not be responsible for lost or
damaged items. If the artist fails to make fulfillment of order on two or more
occasions, they will be considered for removal from the site and all profits for
unfulfilled orders will be forfeited.
As a Sponsor?
Mossy Creek Trail is a monumental task requiring many man hours of work along with
hosting and administrative costs. We welcome potential sponsors to submit their requests via e-mail, traditional mail
(PO Box 37, Broadway, VA 22815) or by calling 540-578-2078. Your support is much
appreciated and we are already getting some good visibility thanks to the help of
some special friends. As of July, 2007 we are averaging nearly 15,000 visits per month from all 50 states and 77 countries around the world.

Content and Miscellaneous Information
The team at Mossy Creek Trail uphold high moral standards, therefore all content
submitted must be approved by the MCT Team. Any material of an
objectionable nature will not be accepted. This includes anything of a degrading
nature, anything slanderous, anything demeaning to any ethnic group, anything of
a pornographic or otherwise erotic nature. Additionally, MCT reserves the right
to reject any material for any reason. Also, due to the sometimes volatile and
divisive nature of religious (including holidays), political and nationalistic
material in this day and age, we request that this sort of material be left for
sites more suited to moral, ethical and philosophical discussions. We realise
that art by nature evokes different emotions from different people but we hope
to make this a community environment based on peace, beauty and unity. It's our
house and this is what we like on our walls...
